Explain why you chose the topic and how you approached it. Tell us what you thought you would accomplish when you started the project and what you have actually accomplished. Tell us what you have learned about through the artifact research project. Make sure you communicate your topic in a way that everyone understands. Remember, you are the only one in the class who conducted extensive research on your topic. Throughout your research, you may have become familiarized with specific terms, concepts, ideas, and persons, but not all of your classmates had that experience. Explain important terms, concepts, ideas, and persons critical to understanding your presentation. Make your presentation an engaging story with a clear introduction, conclusion, and thesis statement. At the end of your presentation, your classmates should be able to summarize the significance of your artifact in understanding U.S. women’s history. Make this a PowerPoint presentation. Incorporate pictures. Do spell checks on your slides, outlines, and any other written materials that you will use.
