You are required to conduct an Operations Management Audit of a selected company. To develop insight, it is advised to use no less than 3 years’ annual reports. This is a individual exercise and projects ought to reflect your management perspectives despite the use of comparable companies. The selected company can be public or private. The grade of the assignment is 40%. Good responses would not merely calculate ratios correctly but would understand the implications of the ratios on the Operations Management Model and develop possible ways to improve productivity.
What will be assessed:

The correct use of productivity and profitability ratios. A comparative analysis each year of said ratios with an understanding of why you used selected ratios of choice. Moreover, an application of the results to interpret specific aspects of the organization.

An analysis of the notes/public information of the organization given the findings of the financial analysis. Demonstrate the ability to understand the contextual and environmental challenges of the company.

Identification of the 3 core areas of the organization and a demonstration of how they interact with each other. Which function takes precedence and justify your response? Select an international company to benchmark against and convince your reader why this might be a good strategy.
