Unlike other quizzes in this course consisting of multiple choices questions and/or True or False questions, this quiz requires you to demonstrate the use of an Operating System’s File Management.
Step 1: Design a File Directory Structure (supporting reference documents are provided below):
Create a file directory structure for all your schoolwork. You may do this on your personal computer, OneDrive or Google Drive.
Start by planning out a Directory Structure that provides a place for all your files so you can easily find each file now and in the future. Implement that thoughtful design on a computer. Your work must contain the following: Nested folders with a logical hierarchy (below is a sample structure. Your hierarchy may look different.)

List the example name of the files you would have in each of the folders in your hierarchy
Step 2: Create a File Directory Structure:
On your computer hard drive, OneDrive, or Google Drive implement your File Directory Structure. Create your parent folder, and the children folders, and place your files in their respective locations. In your communication, be clear about where you completed the File Directory Structure; your computer hard drive (including Operating System), OneDrive, or Google Drive.
Step 3: Document what you have created. You have two choices available: Option A: Video Format Option B: Word Document Format
Create a Studio Video of your Directory Structure. In your video, you need to (please note Studio is on your Canvas far left navigational panel):
(a) Show your structure
(b) Explain your structure
(c) Discuss the logic of your structure
Create a Word Document of your Directory Structure. On your document you need to:
(a) Include a screenshot of your structure
(b) Explain your structure
(c) Discuss the logic of your structure
When you work on your deliverable, remember to include:
Your name
Your class section
The operating system you are using
Submission Rename your video file or Word document as Module03 – Quiz Assignment – LastFirst. for example, Module03-Quiz Assignment – SmithJohn.
Once you have completed all requirements for the assignment, click the Submit Assignment button at the top of the page to submit your assignment.
Ensure the File Upload tab is selected. Click the Choose File button and a window will open to allow you to choose the file you would like to upload for submission.
Select the file you wish to submit. Select Submit Assignment to submit the files for grading.
Grading This quiz is worth 15 points.
