The purpose of this assignment is to begin the review of the literature to support the DNP Project that will start in NSG 7431 Project I, Mentored Scholarship.
Assignment Criteria:
Develop a scholarly paper that addresses the following criteria:
Develop/Revise and write a problem statement for the identified DNP clinical problem

Discuss the purpose of the identified DNP clinical problem, which can be a continuation of Assignment 2.
Discuss the search criteria used to locate the journal articles, including databases, keywords
Identify and define potential variables or concepts for the identified DNP clinical problem found in the literature review.
Locate ten professional peer-reviewed scholarly journal articles to support the identified DNP Clinical practice problem (review in Ulrich Periodical Directory) that are less than five (5) years old. You may use seminal sources in the assignment, especially those related to your theoretical frameworks, tools, and instruments.
Articles for clinical problem
Articles for population and problem
Articles for theoretical framework/quality improvement/EBP model
Articles for tools or instruments to measure the problem
Articles for approaches to address the clinical problem of the DNP Intervention
Create a table to help formulate a scholarly literature matrix (see Modules/Week 3 for a matrix template). The last column titled Use of Evidence – make sure to state WHAT you will apply or avoid using from the article to YOUR DNP Project.
The scholarly paper should provide a brief literature overview and relate the articles to the identified DNP clinical problem.
Include an introductory paragraph, a purpose statement, and a conclusion.
Attach the literature matrix as an appendix to the above scholarly paper.
Write the paper in the third person, not the first person (meaning do not use ‘we’ or ‘I’) and in a scholarly manner. To clarify: I, we, you, me, and our may are not used. In addition, describing yourself as the researcher or the author should not be used.
APA format required (attention to spelling/grammar, a title page, a reference page, and in-text citations).
Submit the assignment to Turnitin before the final submission, review the originality report, and make any needed changes.
Submit by the posted due date.
