Select a passage of Scripture from the New Testament that is rich in Old Testament citations, echoes, or allusions and discuss the NT author’s usage of the text and demonstrate the exegetical approach the author employs and unpack the meaning of the text given its Old Testament usage in the passage. Be sure to exegete the original context of the OT passage to evaluate the NT authors usage.
In addition to your textbooks, use the Hunter Theological Library or equivalent to integrate at least ten (10) outside, non-textbook sources into your written assignment. Use footnotes in Turabian style to cite your references, and check to ensure that your paper is free from all grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and syntactical errors. Your paper papers should be 3,000 words (10-12 pages of double-spaced text).
Formatting must be in accordance with Kate Turabian’s A Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, 9th edition.
