The purpose of this exercise is to show what a router is and why it is important to have a router. Directions
Write a blog post (2 paragraph minimum for each part) to reflect on your learning experience and how you applied or are planning to apply what you learned. Label each the paragraphs clearly with title Part 1 or Part 2 of the blog.

There are two parts to this blog post. Part 1: Watch a video and demonstrate knowledge Step 1:
Router, what is it? Have you ever heard of it? If you have heard of a router, do you know what its purpose is? Read the article “What is a Router and How does it Work?” from LifeWare Tech for HumanLinks to an external site., then watch the video about a router in the article page. For additional understanding of the router, watch the Khan Academy video “Packet, Routers, and Reliability”.

Step 2: Write your blog post to answer ALL the questions below (minimum of 2 paragraphs): 1-According to the sources from Part 1, what is the purpose of a router and why do you need a router?
2-According to the sources from Part 1, what steps should you take to troubleshoot an Internet connection problem?

1-Snap a picture (with your phone or any device) of the home router. This is the device that provides an Internet connection from your house to the ISP (Internet Service Provider).
2-Post your router image in your response Blog by Embed your image in your responseLinks to an external site.. (You may post more than one image of the router at different angles).
3-What are some of the issues you encountered with your router in the past and what did you do to resolve them? -Blog organizational hints:
-Label Part 2. -Embed (not attached) your picture. Make sure the picture is visible (picture format HEIC is not readable in Canvas).
-Please include each of the three questions in your response making clear your discussion points.
