The Endocrine system uses chemical messengers (hormones) to communicate and control our bodies. There are several diseases associated with this system, which include diabetes, Graves, Addison’s, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Cushing syndrome, gigantism, menopause and others. For this discussion, you will be reviewing the SOAP note on page 80 of your digital textbook.
Select either the subjective, objective or assessment section of this SOAP note and create a well-written paragraph explaining your chosen section to your patient, Kirk Kobayashi, in layman’s terms so that he understands the information in his report. The paragraph needs to use standard sentence structure, grammar, and spelling.
The initial post should have around 150 words and you should provide documentation from a highly-credible source. Please remember that each source must include an in-text citation and be formatted using APA style.
