Directions
The Gordon Rule assignment must be completed and uploaded by the posted deadline (03/28).
You must write and pass this paper in order to pass, or get credit for the class. For this assignment, you will develop a topic or essay question which is in line with your passion and academic interest. Topics must be presented to me by the second week of class for approval. When the topic is cleared, you will research and write an essay that is supported by scholarly references. The minimum length of the essay should be 4 double-spaced pages (you do not need to write more than five pages). Please type your assignment using Times New Roman size 12 font with one inch margin. I would prefer black ink on white paper, the good old traditional way, although I have received hand-written and colored essays in the past. You should use APA writing format for your paper.
I am aware that Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology makes it possible for students to source assistance with assignments, including essay writing, and I expect this and other such sources/capabilities to be utilized. Please, however, do so in a responsible and academically prudent manner. If you rely too heavily on AI technology, it is very likely that your work will appear and sound artificial. If the essay which is presented is not your original work, I will know. Submit the essay by uploading on canvas before or on the due date. This assignment carries 120 points (10 of which is earned through SLC tutoring), and you need to write and pass the essay to receive credit for the course. Tutoring is part of the essay’s final grade. Upload the essay on canvas on or before the due date (03/28). As a reminder, you are required to upload your essays on canvas on or before the due date (03/28), and you need to pass this research essay in order to get credit for this course.
