The Literature Search section and Literature Review section in OVID Synthesis ar
The Literature Search section and Literature Review section in OVID Synthesis are the sections where you will develop your repository of articles, conduct a critique of each article, and then develop the critiques into a TABLE OF EVIDENCE.
In order to search the library databases in a reproducible way, one uses a SEARCH APPROACH. Different databases require the use of different search approaches based upon the search engine. In OVID Synthesis, these search approaches are documented in the Literature Search section. Students should document 2-3 search approaches, incorporating at least two databases. The search approaches include search terms and Boolean operators (e.g., AND, OR)
In addition, there are search procedures and parameters. These are the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The search procedures and parameters are documented on the Results section of OVID Synthesis. (Why there and not in the Literature Search section? We do not know!)
I have attached a copy of the Table of evidence. Please enter those sources used in the table of evidence and answer the questions accordingly. let me know if you have any questions.
Will be provided to assigned writer.
