The following CLA/GELs are assessed in the Assignment:
GEL-1.02: Demonstrate college-level communication through the composition of original materials in Standard American English.
GEL-4.01: Describe the historical events that influence contemporary culture.
GEL-5.01: Identify human expressions within cultures.
GEL-7.02: Apply ethical reasoning to ethical issues within the field of study.
The next step in your Capstone Project is to examine ethics, values, and concepts in the theory and practice of human behavior. The Reading in this unit will greatly help in this identification. In order to demonstrate your understanding of ethics, values, and concepts in the theory and practice of human behavior, be sure to address all aspects of the Project as outlined below.
Review your Capstone Project and identify any potential ethical issues. If there are any ethical issues, how do you plan to address these issues? Think about your own experience or look at current events to identify ethical issues that are relevant to your field of study. Discuss the issue and the ethical concerns that surround this issue.
Examine your Capstone Project’s audience, purpose, and scope of work. What are its cultural or global implications? How will you address the cultural or global considerations specifically? If you are absolutely certain that your Project has no cultural or global issues to consider, discuss How does your Project promote diversity, equity, and inclusivity (DEI)?
Discuss elements of human behavior (such as emotions, variations among groups) that need to be considered in your Capstone Project.
Provide a reflection on lessons learned. How can you apply the knowledge and skills learned from the Project to resolving cultural and ethical differences?
